KUALA LUMPUR: A three-year-old girl believed to have been abused over a month by her stepfather died early Wednesday morning.The victim’s stepfather, 27, and her 24-year-old mother, known only as “Lee” were arrested by police soon after the child was taken to Poliklinik Komuniti Seri Kembangan by the man.
The doctor who examined the child found over 30 bruises on her body and head.
The case has been classified as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
